At his core, Bob is a Storyteller. Just ask his kids…
An avid stargazer at 12 years old, his fascination with telescopes led him to cameras and lenses….and Astrology…that’s a story for another time.
While playing on the National Championship Volleyball Team at Santa Monica College, he completed the photography program.
Never one to waste time, Bob jumped into freelancing and has not looked back.
A fascination with movies (“Thanks Mom”) led him to shoot his first short film to pitch a client’s motion work. Turns out that was a good move, as he promptly became established as a Photographer/Director.
Starting in Fashion and Beauty, Bob created many National Print Campaigns including being one of the top automotive shooters for over 20 years. In the Motion arena, he has directed over 90 TV spots (2 were on The Super Bowl), several short films and two documentaries.
Awards and Accolades followed in both mediums.
After a lifetime of living at the beach in L.A., Bob has recently relocated to the high desert, Joshua Tree to be precise.
On any given day, he can be seen cultivating a relationship with the Squirrels, Road Runners, Rabbits, Iguanas and Coyotes where he lives with his talented partner in love and life.
He works wherever his projects take him…that has included Spain, Canada, Japan, Chile and France, and of course all over the U S of A. (He’s also available as ‘a local’ in the San Francisco Bay area.)
